Daca ajungeti in Capri, nu ratati o plimbare la pas, spre apus, pe Via Krupp. Drumul ingust, serpuieste deasupra golfului, oferind niste privelisti unice, spre micile yachturi pline de petrecareti, rasfirate ca niste perle in apa albastra, spre faimosii Faraglioni si spre indepartatul Monte Solaro.
Via Krupp, urca de la Marina Piccola pana la Gradinile Augustus, un alt loc superb ce marita vazut.
Aleea pietruita, a fost gandita si construita, de baronul german, Friedrich Krupp, in 1902, o adevarata minune inginereasca pentru acea perioada, drumul fiind taiat intr-o stanga abrupta deasupra marii.
Din pacate, in urma unei alunecari de teren in 1976, drumul a fost inchis. A fost deshis abia in 2008, destul de tarziu, as zice, in urma unei investii uriase de 5.5 milioane GBP, pentru a securiza rocile cu risc de prabusire.
Cuvintele sunt insa de prisos, privelistea in lumina apusului este unica, insula isi schimba parca culorile, mireasma florilor si a pinilor devine mai puternica in racoarea serii.

If you arrive in Capri, do not miss a walk by foot, at sunset by Via Krupp . The narrow road , winds over the bay up to the hill, offering unique views from the small luxurious yachts, scattered like pearls in blue water, to the famous Faraglioni and on the other side Monte Solaro .
Via Krupp winds up from Marina Piccola to the Gardens of Augustus, another beautiful place to see. The paved alley was designed and built by the German Baron , Friedrich Krupp , in 1902 , a true marvel of engineering for that time, the road is cut into a steep left above the sea . Unfortunately , after a landslide in 1976 , the road was closed. It was only opened in 2008, quite late , I would say , after a huge invest of £ 5.5 million in order to secure the rocks with risk of collapse .
Words are superfluous but , in the sunset light the island changes its colours, the scents of flowers and pines become stronger in the cool evening.
